Skagen Denmark Mens Watch Black Rectangular Case 690LSLB for sale
It's one ok watch. It looks decent(actually pretty good) in terms of design. I ordered this alongside another skagen leather-banded watch. I opted to keep the other one because it seemed over be the next step up from this one. It did cost $40 more, but the band on this watch looks a little cheap. I know it's leather(and was actually pretty comfortable), but as another reviewer said, it looks such as it could be synthetic. The face of the watch(the dial) looks more 2 dimensional on this watch, as opposed toward the more expensive watch's 3 dimensional details and gray hue which contrasted nicely with the black features of the band and sidewalls of the dial. This watch might be a dress watch in some owners' minds, but if you want one actual "dress" watch until wear with a suit or business casual, you should appear over more expensive Skagens if not a dressier brand. The Skagen I ended up keeping is the one I wear with a suit and it looks appropriate with dress wear. I obviously think the other watch looks good with a suit too. I have smaller sized wrists, so don't really same a giant chronograph or oversized sport watch. This watch is a good width if you are concerned about one overbearing or gaudy watch, but again, the Skagen I kept is a tad more square and a tad bigger than this one. The other watch is just better, in quality, in size, and in appearance. That Skagen is model# 984lslb. That model fluctuates wildly in price. I just checked it and it's a lot more now than I paid 3 weeks ago.
SYNOPSIS: this watch is fine, for a watch in the $50-$75 price range, but why not spend $40 more to get a nicer watch.
This watch is pretty, but lacks a certain element and depth which would make it a nicer watch. Looks a little more delicate in terms of gender, meaning it could look toward some people same a women's watch, especially on smaller wrists. Not bad, but not great. TRUST ME, just spend the extra $40.
