Tissot Men T40142651 T-Touch Silen-T Black Leather Strap Watch for sale
In excess of 150 years, Tissot has embodied the innovation and tradition of Swiss watch-making. Operating out of the Neuchâtel part of the Jura Mountains, in Le Locle, Switzerland, Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile created the watch making company Tissot in 1853. Whether inside the technology of the movements, within the research for special materials or even in the very functions on the watch itself, Tissot's engineers and watchmakers have developed pioneering timepieces through the years.
Several of Tissot's triumphs in recent times add the taking that approach 2001 (our planet's first plastic watch) released in 1971, the Rock watch (which set the timepiece's movement in a stone case made out of Swiss Alps granite) in 1985, plus the Wood watch from 1988 (having a completely wooden case). Tissot uses the most beneficial movements (from ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse), the very best quality materials (316L steel, 18K gold, titanium) and scratch-proof glasses (sapphire crystal--leastways 2500 Vickers).
The organization may be involved with high profile sports events since 1974 once they sponsored a racer in the one day of Le Mans, France. Ever since then Tissot's timepieces have been chosen as official timekeepers for world championships in cycling, motorcycling, fencing and hockey. And Tissot currently is the the state watch and timekeeper of NASCAR.
Tissot timepieces happen to be worn by the bevy of celebrities in recent times--including Grace Kelly, Elvis Presley and Nelson Mandela--and James Stewart's character L.B. Jefferies wore a Tissot timepiece in Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window." Today the corporation is represented in many different sporting fields by English soccer star Michael Owen, IndyCar driver Danica Patrick, and MotoGP world champion Nicky Hayden. Today, Tissot is really a member of the Swatch Group, by far the largest watch producer and distributor.
I simply received my Silen-T watch. I adore it! This can be the first watch in this price bracket We have owned - and the quality reflects the retail price. Unlike other watches I've bought, this one fits my large wrists. The wrist watch is rather heavy, causing it to slip down my wrist on a regular basis, but I'll become accustomed to it.
My only frustration has been the user manual: Tissot included an ordinary manual, useful for it's watches, which doesn't in any respect sign up for the Silen-T. The item description was enough which helped me to to determine to set time and alarm by touching this watch face, but there is still some weird behaviour i always haven't yet identify. It's rather frustrating to pay this much using a watch then need to guess at how to set it! I'll head over to Tissot's website trying to get a manual I will print out.
