Kenneth Cole New York Men KC1650 Classic Multi-Function Analog Quartz Polyurethane Strap Watch for sale
A bit over half a year ago, I set out on the hunt to the perfect await me. I'm 22 yr old slender asian male. It indicates one important (and unfortunate or fortunate, based on how we visualize it) fact: my wrists are really slender and kiddish. Personally, We've no preference for the chrome strapped watches or any watch that includes a jewel or metal strap. It may be an excessive amount in my opinion and clashes with my personal style. But the problem is the fact fabric and plastic straps are so informal for work and business situations, which being a young professional, My business is in more than 60% of my waking time. Which is ultimately what led me to investigating two Kenneth Cole NY Men's watches--one which you currently see within this product page, as well as the Kenneth Cole Nyc Men's KC1460 (http://www.amazon.com/Kenneth-Cole-KC1460-Multi-Function-Leather/dp/B000X33R04/ref=sr_1_35?s=watches&ie=UTF8&qid=1297660346&sr=1-35).
I wound up choosing this watch (the KC1650) within the KC1460 simply because In my opinion this watch looks classier given it has a lot of old-fashioned style towards the face, while still leaving it using a sleek modern black sports finish.
While i received the watch, I realized certain things:
1) the wrist watch face was much wider than I originally anticipated--is in fact very difficult to visualize available for you, so I'll provide tangible comparison: I will fit four dimes in the square on top of this wrist watch face.
2) my asian wrists still meant that I had to tighten the strap towards second or third tightest holes. (honestly, I'd personally fit women's watches.)
It took quite some time to develop on me since similar to of my generation---I'd not been wearing a wristwatch regularly for a while now. (My cellphone had replaced my old watch in 2006.) But 6 months later, I can say which i have grown to be really very happy with this watch. It is certainly grown on me, and it also adds that little extra professional flair that one could take with you to conferences, and when you're out with your friends, it adds a modest amount of class for a appearance. Overall, I do believe it's a great entry-level watch out for anyone thinking of getting a timepiece because of not just telling time--however for appearance also.
And when that isn't enough, I'll break it on to a professional/CON list for you personally :)
PROS:
+ Affordable for any business casual watch (as compared to other choices)
+ Looks sleek and classy; definitely will get you some compliments
+ Carries a nifty sports watch timer (times around sixty minutes having a second-hand clock plus a minute clock)
+ Sturdy; strap also ages well with you (it is leather, after all)
+ Technology-not only for professional settings for casual settings
CONS:
- Is slightly faster by a few milliseconds (accumulates after some time; I find myself adjusting it back 60 seconds or so about every 45 days) (this might you need to be a defect with my watch though).
- As this is an entry-level watch, this may not be something thinking of if you're trying to seem like an executive (or should you be one...or gifting to a single...)
- Just not a sports watch when you could break the watchface's glass if you've been doing something intense like mountaineering. I only recommend this watch out for business/dress and casual settings.
OVERALL RATING: 8.5 pts out of 10 pts of the many entry-level watches
Good gift to a young professional or young adult, in particular when it doesn't like the chrome/metal straps.
